Raheem DeVaughn & Friends Spread Cheer With Charity Concert
For four years performers from all genres have been joining R&B singer and philanthropist Raheem DeVaughn for his annual benefit concert. Fellow singers like Tweet and Kelly Price and hip-legend Doug E. Fresh are just a few among the many who have donated their time and talents to supporting the DeVaughn’s non-profit organization, The LoveLife Foundation, which seeks to gather resources and raise awareness for causes including domestic violence prevention, scholarships, and youth and community programming.
One of the foundation’s core priorities is facilitating support for HIV/AIDS Awareness and this year they’ve teamed up with AIDS Healthcare Foundation to use proceeds from the concert to further educate the community at large on progress of HIV/AIDS Prevention in the hopes to eliminate the spread of this pandemic.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention proper education is one of the leading ways to fight HIV/AIDS.
Joining them in bringing this year’s fight against HIV/AIDS to New York’s Highline Ballroom for the first time ever is a line up that any millennial would love to turn up to! Ro James, MC Lyte (performing alongside Doug E. Fresh), The CrossRhodes, singer and Love & Hip Hop star Lil’ Mo, rappers Beanie Siegel, Freeway, Chris & Neef, DJ Money and more will be touching the stage and spreading the holiday spirit with some of their signature hits.
Strapped from holiday spending? These concert tickets are just $35 each!
Whether you’re looking for somewhere to take your out of town cousins or you just really want to get your life to “Guess Who Loves You More” and “Superwoman” live this is a must attend event if you're in the New York area looking to have a good time and support a great cause!
